  • Ginjinha Sem Rival Eduardino (best ginjinha; near 2nd biggest Zara, Gambrinus, Bonjardim)

  • Restaurant Bonjardim ("chicken place," always a line)

  • JNcQUOI Asia or JNcQUOI Avenida (reservations recommended) 

  • Java Rooftop (reservations recommended)

  • Seen Rooftop (reservations recommended, instagram spot/ never been)

  • Nicola (on Main Street and touristy but fun for people watching)

  • Rocco (instagram spot/ never been)

  • Barrio Alto Rooftop (best hotel rooftop)

  • Icon Bar & Rooftop Hyatt Regency (more East of Lisbon)

  • Machimbombo (Portugal’s only vintage analog photobooth, opens 3, near Portuguese Flannel)

  • Monkey Mash (speakeasy style bar off of Avenida)

  • Grau Douru Tapas & Winebar

  • LX Factory – artsy complex with shops, cafés, murals, and small galleries; great for wandering (less touristy Time Out Market)
