We met as roommates in law school in the cutest house,  1258 Cumberland Rd NE, in Morningside, a small neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia. We lived at this house for all 3-years of law school with the most wonderful roommates:

Now, we are getting married!!!

We got engaged in August 2024 in Stellenbosch, South Africa. We found ourselves there because of a dear professor that we both had together at Emory. Yes, we know a long engagement, but we are a bit of everywhere at the moment. Hayden will be finishing a clerkship in Delaware the week before our September 2026 wedding. After this, we will see where life takes us!

Why Portugal you may ask? We chose to get married here because it was our first big trip together. The image of us in the airport is actually us returning from Portugal and finding out that we were both on Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal together - a moment that has really changed the trajectory of our lives. But back to Portugal, we both value exploring new places, meeting new people (well maybe Hayden doesn't), and trying new things, and we cannot wait to showcase our love of this incredible country with you.
